Gemstones and their meanings

Gemstones and crystals have healing properties that help to balance the body, mind and spirit.

Healing crystals and gemstones have been used for thousands of years by ancient civilizations, which is a testament to the powerful ability of gemstones to release mental, physical and spiritual blockages.

Both our bodies and healing crystals have energetic vibrations, which makes us naturally receptive to the vibrations of gemstones as they can align our own vibrations with theirs. This is why healing crystals and gemstones have a powerful vibratory effect when placed directly on your body. This energy surges from the crystal to you, which facilitates the free flow of energy throughout the body.

Chakra healing crystals, are stones that connect to the primary seven chakras in the human body. Chakra is the Sanskrit word for “wheel,” outlining each chakra as a spinning wheel of energy that moves in sync with each other.  The chakra represents an energy center responsible for certain emotions, qualities and organs in humans.

When these chakras lose balance or become blocked, it directly affects one’s spiritual, mental and physical health. Healing crystals restore balance and natural energy flow in the chakra system for maximum well-being.

Below I've listed some of the most common and loved gemstones. You will also find info about which chakra they represent as well as a short description of their meanings.
